Possible low hpop pressure
Hello, I recently purchased my first 7.3 PSD (2000 ford f250 Crew cab short bed 4x4 auto). I bought it running but with the understanding it had issues. The first thing I did was purchase an OBDII to USB adapter and download FORScan (highly recommend, very useful) to do a multitude of tests, one of which being ICP pressure. I let it idle for a while and ended up hovering at about 500 psi at idle, then I did a a WOT test and it jumped up to nearly 2300 psi before dropping back down to about 1800. It just got an oil change (I just resealed the oil cooler) and new filter. Is this too low? Is there anything that could be effecting it? For added information when the ICP pressure is at about 1800 the ICPV pressure is at about 280 psi and the IPR % is at about 24%.
