I was under my 87 f150 XLT lariat today doing an oil change...noticed the rubber piece that is attached to the bottom of the front chrome
bumper was barely attached. There was one bolt/nut near the center and 2 pieces of bailer twine on the end. wtf...
What is SUPPOSED to be used to fasten this piece to the bumper? Those black plastic christmas tree grommets?
That dose look like LMC but for $10 + shipping I would hit the local hardware store for nuts & bolts and maybe flat washers and be done with it.
I dont know what size the pops are do you have a gun to install them?
Dave ----
Yes. That is from LMC’s website. Unless you were ordering something else from them, going to the local hardware store to find some rivets that will fit would be cheaper.

I wonder if LMC would tell me . The holes look to be for around a 5/16" bolt/nut...that would be a pretty big rivet....
Go to a body shop supply like AIS where they have every plastic fastener and, all those little metal, J nuts and the like
The valence should have just had clips that are now broken off the valence?
So, a makeshift repair is needed?
Do the best you can with what you have
now to fix the leaking power steering reservoir...is this achievable or just replace with a new unit?
See told you it was easy with the nut / bolt setup.
On the leak what pump do you have and are you sure it is the pump and not a fitting on the pump or a hose close to the pump?
Only issue with getting a replacement (rebuilt?) is it can be junk out of the box.
I have not messed with them so cant help more.
Dave ----
its the one on the 5.0L 1987 ford f150....whichever one that is . black reservoir coming up from the pump with 2 lines (high/low) lines to/from it. I pressure washed it off real good yesterday. Cannot fire it up ATM...dual fuel reservoir is leaking badly. That goes in for replacement on monday. it's spewing fuel when the engine runs. Have a catch basin underneath right now...
Dual fuel reservoir leaking
The crossover valve?
You can get a new o ring for it and possibly fix that yourself?
Yes, your 87 has a Ford C2 power steering pump
