Does Ford build any V8 trucks with true dual exhaust like the hemi Ram 1500? All of the F150s I've seen only have one chrome tipped tailpipe.
Only for the Raptor and it's no longer a V8. Most folk including my self put our own dual system on. I chose Borla for it's well known reputation, sound quality and lifetime warranty.
That being said, you should be able to swap that bumper over and have a shop cobble up a take-off exhaust to work. I’m sure I’d swap the muffler, though.
Then again, the v6 Ram guys swap those Hemi exhausts quite a bit and the v6 sounds decent. So, maybe not a big deal.
The Tremor models have dual exhaust. And the Raptor R has a V8.
Last Raptor with a V8 was 2014. It had a 6.2l. Everything since has been the dual turbo 3.5 V6. Raptor R I've never heard of. Edit: Just looked up that $110,000 truck LOL yeah it's got a V8.
Well, it certainly helps the engine breathe, which in turn increases horsepower.
Not really, the only way it would make any difference performance wise with these trucks is if you added a super charger to the engine. Stock they breath just fine. Duals are strictly for sound/looks otherwise.
Well, it certainly helps the engine breathe, which in turn increases horsepower.
That is not necessarily so as the engine and exhaust system is tuned for optimum performance and the needed amount of back pressure. Many guys used to put on headers and then wondered why they had burned out their engine's exhaust valves. Even with engines with turbos that are putting a lot more air through the engine there is no gain with dual exhaust on the dyno or on the road.
Lots of misinformation here, I’ll set the record straight. If you order the 5.0L V8 with BAP (Black Appearance Package) you will get rear exit black painted dual exhaust on XLT, Lariat, and Platinum trims. If you select the 5.0L V8 for your powerplant on the F-150 Tremor you get duals also out the rear bumper. Here is the stock exhaust setup on the 2023 Tremor 5.0L
