Boat engine.
My neighbor has an older Ski Nautique with a, I think, 351W. A couple of questions. First the distributor has a reverse rotating gear, where can he get one? Second are there 2 sizes of distributor shafts? Thanks

There are two sizes of distributor shafts commonly used just depending on the distributor, .530 and .500. Steve Demos, Demos' Cams might have an idea of where you can find a gear. Looking on line Davis Ignition shows one of their distributors for a reverse rotation 351W. Maybe they'll sell you a gear.
