351W in 00 Ranger Distributor issue

So I bought a 96 E150 van with the efi 351W roller engine. Tore it down and rebuilt the engine. Got her all bolted in now wondering about my distributor. I have not been able to find out much info about this. Some of the efi components were missing so I slapped a carb intake and a demon carb on her. Is there any way to make the factory distributor work? If not what would be a good replacement? Since it is a roller engine it has a steel distributor gear. Any thoughts?

What are you using for an ignition system? Unless it's EEC4 based you can't use that EFI distributor, the good news is you can put a steel drive gear on any 351 distributor.

I was thinking duraspark. Anybody know if the steel gear from my efi distributor will fit the duraspark or do i just need to remove the distributor and try?

Pretty sure they are all the same dimensions. Worth a shot.
