Metal (alum?) trailer box - large rectangular?
Do any of you have any suggestions on where I might be able to get large metal trailer/truck boxes? I see a lot of them that are V tongue mount style, pickup truck bed mount, side rail bed mount, and ones designed more for semi trucks but not much in the way of large chest style boxes.
A while back we had a service guy at our shop for a few days installing a waterjet machine (about the size of a semi truck). When he showed up he had a skid style chest. I dug in to them a bit and it appears to be a Jobox piano style chest like this one in the link:

Those are pretty cool and super heavy duty. Though, I don't need that style. The shelving system in it is taking up usable volume for larger stuff and at 413lbs that is eating up some payload without even putting anything in it.
I'm thinking if there is such a thing out there like a metal Dock Box chest that seals and locks it would probably work, but I am not having much luck finding anything like that with much size to it.
I don't want to go much wider than 70", the other dimensions could be around 4' deep and 4-6' high (piano style lid preferably). Doing the math that is about 93-140 cubic feet.
Thoughts?
This is the box that a buddy put on the trailer before I bought it from him many many years a ago.
It is an old electrical disconnect box. He welded a patch over where the handle came out and as you can see I can lock it,
It is bolted to the trailer frame with bolts in to tapped holes and being inside and locked it cant be removed.
He found it at a scrap metal yard.
I would store a full size shop floor jack (handle removed), 2 good horses, extra tie down straps and chains, extra motor / ATF & gear oil, rags, and bunch of other stuff needed when drag racing.

I'm thinking the better route might be to make my own thing at some point, but really an enclosed trailer would solve a lot of the challenges. I have an open utility trailer right now - and need an open trailer for a lot of things. That was the idea behind the box - I can keep the open trailer as an open trailer and still have a way to keep some gear dry and protected. We'll see.
I did pick up a few of these boxes at Menards. They are a huge help, but they are too small for bulky things and don't stack. They do keep dry going down the road, even though they don't have a "seal" - the lid to base fits well enough to keep the water spray out.
