Hello all, doing my shifter forks today and got the 1/2 one out with no problem, but can’t get 3/4 one’s bad to move for the life of me. Tried beating it out prying it out everything and it doesn’t work. Anyone got any tips?
No
You usually have to remove all the rods and then replace the forks one by one while you put the rods back
Done several, do not remember which fork or the exact procedure but I can get it quick (the procedure) and that is the key
If you were to list what you're driving, someone like me would post the cook book procedure
You're gonna need / want new rod end seals for the top and some black silicone to seal them
There is always that elusive one roll pin IIRR
