Water pump/starter
Got motor pulled took starter out WOW major hernia, my question is can it be upgraded to a newer starter? Next question is the water pump I have the 223 6cyl only seem to find them on obsolete parts in FOMOCO boxes that look as if they been thru UPS. FedEx, and USPS my worry is they want $145. and I'm not sure this has been on a shelf 40-60 years hoe long will the seal hold once I start using it? And last but not least has anyone upgraded their charging from Gen to Alt? Still plugging along have some new pics to add to build just need to squeeze in some time I'm sure everyone feels that. Thanks people all help is greatly appreciated
