I just bought my first super duty 11/11/04, have always had F150's before this. It is an XLT with F4X package ,shortbed, extended cab with all the bell & whistles ( wedge wood blue ) which does look purple. I have 300 miles on it and from the time i drove it off the dealers lot the front end has had a squeaking noise . sounds like it may be the front sway bar. Has anyone had a similar noise like this and what does it take to fix it? I know its under warranty but i don't want the dealer to try to snowball me.

Sounds like you've got a set of squeeky springs! Your dealer may be able to help by putting a set of spring isolator pads between the ends of your springs (I think they're teflon coated, or made of teflon...) My springs squeeked since I drove the truck off the dealers lot. Every so often I hit them with a pressure washer followed by a good soaking of WD-40 and the squeeks go away for a while. And like you said, it might be your sway bar links squeeking too...I'm not too clear on how you'd get rid of that squeeking other than removing the bolts and putting a dab of grease on the bushing.
