Havent got down to the supplky store yet but gonna change the headlight switch out specifically since the lights decided to flicker at a cop and i was arrested for a fine that i had already paid

well I got my switch changed and now I have good lights again. when I pulled the plug it was burt up and melted a bit. So I imagine the new switch will help things. I haven't hooked up the DLR yet, I guess that's next.

That sucks to get arrested for a paid fine. Hope you got an appology.

If the harness connector for the headlight switch was kinda melted-looking, you should replace it too. Ford parts guy told me it was the recommended procedure when replacing a roasted switch. I have heard the replacement switch will not last if it's plugged into an old socket. It wasn't expensive & the added wiring length makes it easier to take the instrument panel apart again. I replaced the switch & harness two years ago with no further troubles.
