Bleeding power steering after pump and gear replace
Probably an old thread, but after replacing my power steering pump and gear( it started to steer itself)
when trying to bleed, with engine off, cap on reservoir, turning steer wheel, and fluid flows out of reservoir.
how do you bleed then?
edit- sorry- its 03 f350 7.3 diesel, hydro boost brakes

Reason: Not enough info of unit
Easy YouTube video on replacing/bleeding hydroboost
I followed this process and worked great for me after I upgraded from vacuum to hydroboost. I’d highly recommend it and I would recommend replacement of fluid. Definitely could notice the color change he mentions.
