As long as the tank is out, go ahead and put a new fuel pump in. It's a whole lot easier to do it now than finding out you need one a year down the road. You're also going to have to configure for the 36 gal tank in Forscan, or your fuel gauge and miles to empty wont read right.

So I snagged a new MOTORCRAFT Pump at O'Reillys for $225+ tax including the gasket.. seemed like a fair price ?
I will feel better knowing I'm not running down the road up on some mountain in West BF in an old pump from a junkyard that has been through who knows what in its life.
