Having a small issue towing
I have two trailers. One is a landscape trailer (12') with no brakes. The other is a dump trailer obviously with brakes. When towing the dump trailer, I hear a "BING" every once in a while coming thru the speakers (sounds that way anyway) The only thing I can liken it to is when you're on a plane and the seat belt sign goes off. Kinda like that. Does not happen pulling the other trailer. That said, I pulled this dump trailer all last year with the same truck (22 XLT) without this happening. The only thing different is I got a new hitch with a double ball because I expect to be getting rid of the landscape trailer and upgrading (16'). There's no rhyme or reason to the "bing". We thought at first it happened when we turned to the right but no, it just randomly goes off. Nothing comes up on the screen and itdoesn't appear to affect anything, it's just annoying. Going maybe 10 miles it might happen three times. I plan to take this to Ohio very soon (I'm in PA) and I really don't want to hear this thing all the way out and back. I can't imagine what this could be. Just had the trailer inspected so everything is good there. I keep a solar battery tender on the trailer and thought it might be that so I unplugged it yesterday when I went to get mulch but I still got that BING. Any clue as to what this might be or, by chance has anyone else experienced this?
