Replacing my gear oil, and not sure if I should put in the friction modifier. I thought I looked up the number on the tag once and the L meant Limited slip? But looking at the gears and such, I don't see anything that resembles a clutch or some fancy set of lockers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Yes, that is a limited slip and the clutch packs are visible in the pictures
That 2nd photo shows the clutch frictions behind the side gear
Add at least two maybe three friction modifiers in there with the 90 wt (75-90) synthetic
It's liable to chatter with just one tube of the modifier
007
The L in the tag gives it away
