Was washing the truck tonight and right at the back of the cab where it attaches by rear window , the little plastic tab broke that is holding the moulding down . This is the moulding that comes from front door and all the way back along the top of the doors . It looks almost completely cosmetic . I can’t believe it was being held down by a little flimsy plastic tab. It was pretty dark when I looked but doesn’t seem like water could get into the cab anywhere . I’m wondering if I can put a little super glue on it and lock it back down ? Probably cost a small fortune to have it replaced at dealer . Thanks !
Removal and replacement of the rear glass is the only way to reattach like factory. Whenever glass is removed there is a chance of breaking it. So it could be expensive. That is not necessary though. It's only aesthetic and can be held in place using methods as described in that thread.
