I think I was on this forum about 10 years ago but I can't remember now. I have an old 81 F-250 4x4 thats been in the family since at least the early 90s. There are definitely better trucks to start with on a rebuild/restore. In high school I took a bunch of cans of rust oleum and rattle canned right over the rust. Well now as an adult im actually taking the time to pull the truck out of the yard and get started on it. It needs a ton but it's definitely worth it sentimentally. Bed is rusted through but I have an 89 donor with a blown up 460 for parts (mainly the bed because it's in good shape). The first picture is pre rattle can treatment the last two are from at least 2014 on earlier. So far on the list of needs It has is floor pans, bed, motor rebuild, otherwise mostly just surface rust from what I can tell. It's actually a Canadian built truck according to the door jamb. I haven't gotten too deep into it because im working on reorganizing the barn im gonna work on this in. When it was parked about 7 years ago it was just pouring oil.
