A few days ago I went to start my truck and when I turned the key... nothing. I did my research and without any way to test for voltage I decided to go ahead and replace the starter solenoid, it didn't help. I did more research decided to go buy a nice meter and continue to search. I tested for voltage at the wire that activates the starter solenoid and nothing. I ended up replacing the ignition switch because it was cheap and the neutral safety switch neither fixed the issue (including cleaning the connections). So now to the real question. It has to be the wire itself right? There isn't anything else that could be stopping the starter relay from being activated and starting the truck or am I missing something obvious?
Okay so after work I decided to try manually moving the ignition switch and it didn't start so it wasn't the mechanical portion. After that i decided to test and make sure the ignition fuses 20 and 21 are getting 12v and they are but still no voltage at the starter relay control wire.
