It does not turn the engine and the starter. These computers are removed from one car, they do not match the code of the old computers of my car, but I installed PCM and BCM of both the same car. I also installed a Taurus BCM computer, on which the engine runs for 2 seconds and shuts off, they tell me that I need a BCM computer that corresponds exactly to the code of my car, but they cannot guarantee that the car will start, maybe someone knows what is the matter and what is the problem with me
This is really hard to follow but I think your whole problem is the PCM has to be programmed to your vin number and model. A PCM from one vehicle can't be used in another that isn't the same make and model. Get a PCM that matches the vehicle you are working on.

the strategy code for the PCM and BCM needs to be programmed to match your truck. the hardware ford uses works on many vehicles but your year, model, and options are what determines what strategy code needs to be programmed in the modules. then there is the "As-Built-Data" that needs to be programmed for your specific truck. A ford dealer should be able to handle the programming since it can be a pain but they probably wont do it for an modules your bring to them. the one complication you could face for As Built Data is if your old modules cant communicate with the programmer. here is a link about the details of programming a module.

Got my plugs changed today and it took 2.5hrs without removing the inner liners. Wasn't as bad as the 2013 I used to have, worst plug to mess with was the lower passenger side plug that was under the oil dipstick because it was a little harder to find room for the wrench. Used MC plugs and wires and AC Delco boots because that's all I could find in stock.

Most of the resistors has some corrosion starting but nothing as bad as some of the other pictures shown. I did take a screwdriver and scrape inside the coil to get the contact shined up a bit before putting it back together. Three of the top plugs had some white corrosion dust around the boot and plug but the electrodes all were in pretty decent shape for having 50,000 miles on them. Put dielectric grease on both ends of the boot and the rubber end of the wire going to the bottom plug, added a very small dab of anti seize to the plug and torqued to 18lbs.

Only issue I ran into was that I broke off the retaining tab on one of the plug ports on one coil. I could not get the plug to hold together to where I would trust it so I bit the bullet and bought a new coil and will keep the damaged one for an emergency spare. Also noticed eight of the plugs are different and not sure why that is. The plugs are what the factory put in so there must have been a reason for that. I did start another thread on the plug differences.

Halp me plase

Hello, thank you for answering my question. I bought F-250 6.2 gasoline PCM and BCM computers, my car F-350 6.2 is easy to unlock, it has a non-programmable ignition, therefore I bought a car computer that has the same key, it's just a 4-door F-250, I also bought other electric keys that Yes, the car has it. The Ford electrician tells me that these computers will not work for my car. But I also bought a taurus BCM computer that turns the engine on and off in 2 seconds, I can't understand why the f-250 6.2 BCM and PCM computer doesn't work and why the taurus 3.5 BCM computer works half as well when the taurus has so much more features. Actually I am installing and setting up a new car because the engine is good and running I am installing working car computers BCM and PCM why can't these computers fit my car. Sorry for writing so much and having so many questions, but I've been working on the car for 1 year and we still haven't heard what the problem is no one can help me, I'm tired
