The 167 just says the ECM did not see it (a brief wide-open throttle)
121-125 are the normal faulty TP codes that get set
So just did another test to make sure that I had the throttle wide open and I still have the 311 and 167 but now I have a 129 code which is saying MAF sensor. But I do know that I had the throttle wide open during the tests
Well, if you had it at WOT for long enough for the engine to speed up and the 167 is still there, I would consider replacing that TP sensor
A cheap scan tool that can read pids (live data) does not exist for yours IMO
Your truck requires the breakout box and a DVOM to read the TP and MAF if you do it the old Ford way
Backprobing the connectors is how most techs do it these days
When the NGS came out, it was a Godsend for us Ford boys
You should find someone in your area with one and who is willing to take a few minutes looking at yours
Ask at the local parts stores if they know any Ford guys

I didn’t think that my truck had a MAF sensor? Does it have one that I didn’t know about
True story, yours will have a MAP instead
You need a meter that reads hertz to check that sensor
That 129 code is saying the same thing, no change in the MAP sensor reading, with a vacuum signal of zero during the goose test
Chech the vacuum line to that sensor
The MAP sensors have the same thick film in them as the TFI module and it likes to get sucked out occasionally
That plugs up the vacuum line and renders the sensor inop
