where can I buy transmissions mounts/cushions ,that go between the transmission cross member and the dog ears on the bell/clutch housing ? for a 1990 f800 ,that is the donor truck I am using for the conversion.thanks Gary
they look like the top illustration.thank you so much for all your help .I need to use the correct terminology to get better results .I see several on EBAY but no dimensions of the parts .my current mounts look ok ,but I like to know where to get new ones .
The sources listed in that linked thread would be a good place to start. I searched for posts by Numberdummy for "insulators" and that's all I found.
I always wonder and shake my head at the variety of parts used to do the same job. WHY reinvent the engine mount isolator over and over again. Almost as confounding as the Ford list of bell housing to engine patterns.
I will call some of the leads you posted ,I see parts that kinda look like what I need on EBAY .again thank you so much for all your help and thanks to every body else on this forum for the very useful info .
