Upper lube
I've been looking for a valve cover Lube system that no longer is available. I have thunderbird valve covers. The lube sprays oil on the valve assembly. My lines are clear and I run Valvoline 40 weight racing oil. Lots of guys are running it in there Y Block 312 I change the oil.and keep it clean. And run an oil.pressure gauge Stewart Warner off the valve cover assembly. about 38 lbs at 55 mph. Has anybody else running valve cover lube system in their Y Block.AJ

Okay Lead. I Was looking for some opinions about the system my gallery's are. Clean and open for right now. I've got my valve covers off and was inspecting the seals and the aluminum covers are really clean. Also removed the oil pan no sluggle in the pan just really checking to see what I got. So far I am pretty impressed. With my engine. The block is 312 and the heads are maybe 292 Y Block the numbers are kinda grounded off but still readable. Can you run that combination or can an upgrade cause the grinding off of a few letters?AJ
