I don’t know if this has already been covered, my dash lights quit working, when I pull the switch, there is now power coming from the fuse block, everything else works, fuses are new, grounds are good, blinker switch is new, all other fuses light up, it’s just the instrument fuse that has no power, is this a switch issue or is it in the fuse block?
Power to the fuse comes from the switch to the fuse and then to the lights. So if you have no power at the fuse I'd guess the dimmer in the switch is likely broken.

The rheostat inside the headlamp switch that dims/brightens the dash lamps has probably broken. This is a somewhat common occurrence as it is made of a ceramic material.
There is a button on the bottom of the switch, push the button and pull the headlamp switch ****/shaft from the switch. There is a small threaded nut that fits inside the headlamp bezel, it threads into the switch.
Remove the nut, the switch is now free of the dash. Remove the wiring. To reinstall the ****/shaft, just push it all the way in, there's no need to press the button.
after some tracing and test light work, I found a broke wire at the switch, switch is still good so, new connector, all lights work including cab light
