Pull strap help

Hey everyone, I’m a new member. Looking to connect and get help as I restore a 1979 crew cab. I’m looking for thoughts on replacing rear door. Pull straps. I’m not sure if there are aftermarket ones that boat ride in Easley or if anyone out there has a good said they’d like to part with, but I’ll take any suggestions. Thanks!

Welcome to FTE. AFAIK they are not repoped, so ebay or a FTE member that has a spare set is probably the way to go. Have you asked the Crew Cab only forum folks? https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...ly-thread.html

I might have a spare set in the parts shed...I will look tomorrow.

I am still looking for the sets I had. Some where in there is a blue set and a black set. Maybe I will come across them tomorrow.

These are also the same as Econoline front doors and right side sliding body side door.

Thanks for that info ND, I do not have any Econoline vans in my parts rigs line up. So looks like a trip to the local JY is on the schedule. Twoliverew I found the black set...but only have 1 of the mount hdwr covers and the plastic is broke on that 1. I can make a JY lap and see if I can find any better shape ones on Econoline vans. Pm me if you have any interest in that set.

This one has some chrome coming off. They mount either way, so you could mount it facing downward.

In the late 1980's, Ford changed the package quantity of a gazillion parts.

When the idiots did this, they changed the part numbers suffixes, rendering all the previous part numbers obsolete.

D3AZ-6522670-A = NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 10 = 972-937-2201.

D3AZ-6522670-B = NOS PARTS LTD has 3 // RPN PARTS in McKean PA has 4 = 888-666-0916.

Note: The 1977/79 F100/350 pull straps are the same as 1977/79 Econoline. The black pull strap was also used on 1980 Econoline.
