Cam phasers on 2014 5 liter

2014 5-liter with 185,000 on the clock. Mechanic says it will take $4,400 to replace phasers and chain. Since it is not showing a code, his advice is to dump it now. He wants $11,000 to replace the motor. I would appreciate thoughts about costs and his suggestion to dump it. It is a work truck so I can not be without it for long. Thanks

I believe I'd get a 2nd opinion on what's wrong with it. 185k is actually low mileage if it's been properly serviced over it's life span.
