I'm sorry to keep pestering about the carb that I'm not even that interested in, but I'm a little confused when you say "welded to the carb".
The carb is made of magnesium, you cannot weld steel to that.
This is essentially the picture I'd like from you if you figure a way to take off the air cleaner from the carb. Maybe you welded the air cleaner to another part of an air cleaner mounted to the carb, but I don't think you can weld steel to magnesium.
I still have the good condition oil tubes off it, again make an offer if you want them because the engine goes to scrap after i pull it out of the truck.
I took the points and condenser out to put in my 215 dizzy as it had a pertronix in it.
I can put the pertronix in this one for an extra $50 on top of your offer if I accept it.
The pertronix did work.
I will even clean it for you.
I have looked at core prices and think that $50 is fair for it.
