Ok I have a 1985 ford f250 long bed extend cab lariat with the 6.9 four speed dual tanks with only 91,000 miles. Should I sell it? The body is straight minimal rust looks nice. It needs new fuel return lines and regular maintenance done to it before it’s drivable. Blinkers don’t work neither do the wipers, the carpet is wet and there is minimal white mold, really no big deal. The head liner sags. But over all really nice interior. obviously I will clean the interior before selling. And how much should I sell it for if I decide to. I live in Washington state.
tough call. if you have no need for it, than selling is an option.
as far as price to expect, one like that just sold yesterday for $2000. after being on marketplace here for close to 3 months.
If you’re thinking about selling it, id like to take a look at it. Im in Washington state as well.
as far as the carpet being wet, look in the cowl or under the dash at the firewall. In Washington state we get foliage in the cowl and rain water sits there and rots the cowl out.
Prices for used trucks were running high in WA last few years if well maintained and running a 2WD 6.9 supercab F250 would go for $10,000 or so. A friend of mine was shopping recently and gave up trying to find a reasonable priced truck. 4x4's were going higher. A top condition 4×4 Bullnose truck could be as high as $20,000.
If your truck has issues start at $10,000 and subtract parts and labor costs for any issues you have. That should give you an idea of value. Check Craigslist for similar trucks. You might be surprised at the value of your truck.

My experience is that is high. I did better than that on my big flat bed within the last two months by more than 50% and the fuel flows as it should, and without a moldy interior.
