Bessie, my 48 F1 stakebed is going to work today. I’m filling in on guitar for a friend’s band at a really nice outdoor brewery nearby. I decided to load up Bessie and take her to the gig.
I have my amp, PA, various cases with wires and mics and general stuff strapped in the bed. My guitars will ride in the cab with me.

Well..unfortunately I didn’t get any pics. It’s possible someone else grabbed a few pics so we’ll see.
I completely agree. After retirement I get to work on and drive my truck, take her to shows, play guitar with some really great people, and share some good music. I’m lucky to be healthy and mobile at 72 years old. I get to car shows a few times a month between spring and fall, and I play music a few times a month as well.
And then there’s that beautiful lady I share my life with, 42 years married and she’s are sweet and beautiful as the day we met, and my 3 children and my granddaughter. Damn I’m living the life!!
