bugs?
I am dealing with some same issues with my 2003 250SD 5.4. The fuel gauge will actually still read E after I fill up, and sometimes takes days to catch up. I'm having problems with low idle occasionally, and plan to have Ford replace the IAC in the near future thanks to this post board. My biggest complaint however is that the a/c is so weak! My last truck, 2000 Silverado 4.3L V6 had a/c that blew twice as hard and cold as this V8! Just doesn't seem right to me...but dealer twice says all is ok. It can't be normal for the air to warm up significantly on acceleration and take 1-2 mins. for it to cool off again, can it?

Yeah I always shut the truck off when refilling but the gauge is still behind for a day or two. As far as the a/c goes I think you're right...the dealer says all is well but I disagree. Or is Ford just telling me that a 4.3 V6 Silverado has a better a/c system than a 250 Super Duty 5.4?

Try going to the dealer and driving another 03 5.4 SD and see if the a/c exhibits the same characteristics? Also TELL them to fix the gas guage. That's a warrenty fix if I ever heard of one. Just my 2¢
