Do Dump Bodies Less Than 96" Width Exist?
Hi, I have a SRW F350 which is 80" width. I would like the landscape dump body to match the width of the cab but I can only find 96" wide bodies; these line up with a dually cab
I am trying to stay as narrow as possible as I need navigate and park on some tricky city streets

Dump insert or dumping flatbed for a SRW. Plenty of dump insert to choose from but they dont fit much. Very few dumping flatbeds for a SRW that im aware of and they are all aluminum, very expensive, and cant handle more than brush, leaves, and grass.

There is a guy near me who has the set up your describing. F350 SRW with a narrow dump body. It looks like a regular dually dump body but narrower. You almost wouldn't notice. I forget what brand they are.
But keep in mind most dually dumps are CC trucks with straight/narrow frame rails vs the crazy pickup chassis... Mating the hoist and body supports would be interesting. Now that I think about it I want to look at the local guys set up again...

The problem you're gonna run into is even a narrow steel bed is going to use up most of, if not all, the load capacity on a SRW, that's why the ones that are available are smaller and aluminum. No manufacturer is going to sell something like that for liability reasons. You're probably looking at a custom unit or a used bed and having it narrowed if that's what you need.

Got a picture of what style you're actually looking for? I've heard people call different bodies "landscape". Because you're doing leaves I'm assuming something like this?

Have you called any local bed builders and talked to them? Most of them will make modifications to their standard models and build what you want, like that place.

My uncle had one from these guys on his 03' 350 dually dump when the original rotted away. Very well built with quality material.

I ran a 9yd leaf box on an F350 for a while. Unless the leaves were bone dry and powder the weight would add up. Truck was on the bumpstops most days before even being full.
