I need some help. I'm chasing the wheelbase of a 1984 extra cab dually. I have a single cab F350 dually cab-chassis which I'm going to extend the chassis to fit an extra cab (so I can keep the bed the same length). The extra cab model was never sold here in Australia so I'm hoping that someone might be able to help.
Be careful mixing cab chassis and pickup dually stuff together. Measure the width of the axles and the frame rails. Here in the states, the cab chassis has a narrower frame, narrow rearend width, and narrow rear springs compared to a dually pickup.
There are four different wheelbases for the F-350 in this year range.
Regular cab - 133"
Cab and Chassis - 136.8"
Cab and Chassis - 160.8"
Super Cab - 155"
And like franklin said, be very careful doing this proceedure.
If the supercab was avaliable in a F-250, or F-350 single rear wheel drive over there, look into getting the frame off of one of those, instead of making your own. Much safer. IMO.
