Just thought it might be time to replacedthe the original ICP sensor with original 302525 miles. It wasn't leaking or anything like and felt to be running just fine. Planing a cross country trip the end of May so not wanting any issues on the road, I changed out the sensor with an Ford sensor from Riffraff. I took it out for a test drive and low and behold it seems to have a bit more pep going through the gears. Noticeably different acceleration. The old girl has got new energy and giddy up. I like it.
Winter before last I put in a new CPS, IPR and ICP from riffraft just for the heck of it. When I go cross country I want to be as good as possible. Beside, I have three good spares now.
I keep a list of what I have replaced since buying the truck. A list close to that long still needs doing. Neglected, abused, rode hard and put up wet.

It was his brothers truck who had died so he was emotionally attached to the truck. He kept up with oil changes and front end stuff but didnt have the ability or space to do bigger projects and the labor costs to do what needed to be done were too high. He had just taken it in to the shop to get a quote on getting the trans right and they quoted him over 3K so he decided to sell it. He actually cried and I felt kinda bad. He made me promise to send him pictures as I make progress. I sent him a video and some pictures a few months ago. Made him pretty happy.

i think your ICP was not reading correctly if you have more power now.
usually when they leak oil, a pressure differential take place inside giving off an incorrect reading
