because the truck has some crap aluminum wheels that have lugs with a straight shoulder not the acorn style. I could but they’d never center

One question about those wheels, what did they come off of? If they were on a truck with the larger late model lugs, i think they are 5/8" or 9/16" you may need to get the special 1/2"-20 large lug nuts.
