I have a set of Appliance wheels on my 79 F250 that I need to replace the lug nuts on. As far as I have been told, the lug nuts are specific to appliance wheels. Here are two pictures:
The lug nuts have integral washers and spacers, for lack of better terms. The holes in the wheels for the lugs are significantly larger than the lugs themselves, thus the unique lug nut.
I know Appliance has been out of business for many years, and it doubtful that there is NOS floating around. Has anyone seen these lug nuts and know if another company manufactures capatable ones? Any other suggestions?
Looks like a standard mag (mag./alum) lug to me that can be ordered from Summit Racing. First, I would make a trip to a large Advance Auto Parts to see if you could match it up first. The problem is most are normally 7/16 (Chevy) or 1/2 (Ford).
You have a F-250, I would guess it is probably 9/16.
You could call World of Wheels and match it up from a catalog if you know the exact diameter.
On second thought, that might be a frustrating experience, my best guess, and I think this will work is
