7.3 TPS (APS) sensor

Rather than posting in an old thread, Id figured I generate a new one. I'm pretty sure my TPS is on the way out. But this post is about compatibility.
I currently have the one on the right, which is a DOORMAN, which I'm pretty sure is bad. I purchased the one the on left, (DY-967,) which does not work. The pin that actuates the sensor does not turn the middle portion, so the throttle has no response.

I took a Doorman 699-200 out of the truck (bad one.) But, after some research, I don't think that is the correct sensor anyway. Doorman lists a 299-122 as the correct 7.3 TPS. The 699-200 did work for quite some time (old owner put it in years ago.)
The cheapest Doorman 699-122 I can find is $125. I'm not opposed to buying it, I just like OEM and would prefer a Ford part.
Does anyone have any insight?

That Ford part number appears to be correct, I'd verify with your dealer.

Ok, so DY-967 is not the correct part. The way the Ford parts guy explained it to me, is that DY-967 is the TPS for a sensor that would be mounted on the engine (i.e. gas, I would imagine. )
I'm gonna

9F-832 is the correct Ford part number. However, you cannot purchase just that part. Ford requires you to purchase the entire pedal assembly as pictured above, with a part # 9F-836, which would include the new sensor as well.
according to him, when a Ford part becomes obsolete, they sell the blueprints to Dorman, who the manufactures the part.
Doorman sells just the sensor with various part numbers.
I took a Doorman 699-200 out of the truck (the one that failed,) but also saw a listed part number of 699-113 on the Doorman website.
I guess my decision is OEM or aftermarket at this point. The pedal assembly is about $270

I am curious what the differences are in the pedals, given the number of folks here that have had success retrofitting the alternate ford tps.

At the rate the parts are going NLA, I would snap up the OE pedal assy.

I did just that today, I ordered the complete go pedal assy. I was told that the pedal has been redesigned, and I have to order a bracket to go along with it since mine is still the original...
