Accelerated peddle pos sensor replacment

I replaced my app.sensor . I would step on the peddle and nothing would happen the part cost 80 bucks! I put it in and I have the same thing nothing!! Anybody know anything about this? I have a 7.3

If you found a way to get around the $6-$800 dollar accelerator replacement cost I would be interested.
