the back gate is backwards stakes to the outside looks to be original wood

Thought I would ad a few more photos now that I have her home and running. Been un-doing some of the PO stuff. Still have a long ways to go. So far everything works with the exception of the fuel gauge. Even the Ford spotlight.. Thanks for looking.

I know this is an old post and if the original poster ever returns here is the information he asked me to get.

there were only 74 f-100 platform trucks produced. Model 80 in 1956
there were only 984 f-100 stake bed trucks produced model 86 in 1956
