Does Ford winch impact cooling?

Just curious if anyone has noticed a negative impact on cooling after installing the Ford winch? Curious since it tucks into that air opening on the bumper.

It can't be worse than installing a Ranch Hand bumper which numerous people have.

If it did you'd see and hear a lot more people having issues. I can't say for 100% sure it doesn't because I don't have one on my truck but I'm 98.5% sure it does not impact cooling in any way. I've ran a winch on a few Jeeps and never had an issue with cooling due to winch placement.

while I don't have that winch, I have this warn bumper/winch combo and my temps are just fine with heavy towing.

Thanks everyone. I also guess since Ford put their name on it and offers it on the build page that they would of R&D'd any potential issues.

You aren't going to push the truck hard enough to have cooling issues from a tiny winch up front.

Ford performance says the winch will have an effect on air flow through the coolers but nothing specific or how much effect it has.

YES, I am sure Ford is offering a factory option that will compromise the use of the truck.... Good grief
