I am also interested in this. The current stock y-pipe sounds good, but I would like to get more power if it is significant. I have heard that an h-pipe will actually produce more power than straight duals on the Winsor engines. Is this true?
There isn't a true dual system for the 87-96 Bronco's because it isn't legal to run true duals due to the fact that the exhaust converges into one before going through the catalytic converter. An exhaust shop might make up a custom system for you, but your better bet is to buy a new high-flow Y-pipe and replace the exhaust after the Y-pipe.
I know Greystreak and a couple of others have used a Bassani Y-pipe and are happy with it. Do a search on this subject in the Bronco forum, lots of good information.

I'm not sure about that, because where I live, you don't even need a catalytic converter. So check your local laws and you may find you can get away with some stuff.
Is that a federal law? I don't really know much about all the laws, but my friend had his exhaust done professionally, and they told him that he would still pass inspection without a catalytic converter, so I figured it was a local law. Perhaps I'm wrong.
I don't know about all these y pipes, and cats and stuff, but I do know this, Do not have them exit out of the sides like behind the rear tires. I have it like that and everytime I put down my rear window I get fumes like crazy. I like the smell of gas, but not like that. Just my 2 cents.
i did it my self .headers ( longs is what i used ..i got a good deal on them then i ran the pipes to 2 of the new cherry bomb muff's.
then straight out the back ..and man it sounds mean ..not to load
but a nice tough rumble..i love it. and have much better performance..I finally got to use my new mig welder.very happy.and in my county in florida there is no emisions checks..How ever if you get pulled over bya state trouper i will get a ticket .but o well i will take the chance..lol good luck
You know if you have the pipes exit out the back, your rear glass is gonna get black from the exhaust. Also if you open your back windoe while driving your gonna get all the exhaust into the cab.
Just lettin you know.
