I have a basic 2007 F150 with the standard AM/FM Radio which came with the truck when I bought it new.
Now that I am 78 and the truck is 17, I'd like to upgrade the Radio to one that has a CD Player.
I'd like to keep the truck stock so I'm asking, was there an AM/FM Radio that also had a built in CD player?
If so, can a Forum Member provide me with the Model Number so I can try and by a working one?
I'd also like to replace the Vinyl Flooring which has seen better days.
Again, I'd like to keep it stock and would appreciate the stock number for it.
Best regards,
Mike

You might get lucky and find one at a pick-n-pull salvage yard. Personally I'd just put an after market radio in it with bluetooth and/or usb so you can load music on a thumb drive and pop it in.
I've had some luck with factory radios on eBay. Although many like aftermarket radios better, I guess I'm old enough they are hard to see what buttons do what, and get lost with all the menu/function options. Bass, treble, balance and fader is all I need. I've had a place called 1FactoryRadio add bluetooth to a couple radios and an aux port to another.
We have a 2007 F-150 XL regular cab/short bed with 5.4 and 4x4. It has a stock AM/FM radio with built-in CD. Which still works fine except for a flaky display. Keep looking. There are surely plenty of them out there on the used/refurbished sites. I would not be too shy about E-Bay. There are some exceptional sellers on there.
The best place to find used OEM radios is either e-bay or pop in to a local car audio shop and ask them if they have any hidden in the back somewhere covered in dust. Chances are for those common ones like you need they will have one but it won't be cheap (because of availability).
I have a 2013 f-150 lariat , and every schematic the ford dealership sends me is different then my wires going to radio..so i'm screwed with this new radio. been trying for 2 weaks to make it work ???
I would get a head unit with a usb input . I have the oem 6 cd player which has died. Its a pain to carry cds . Cd players are a mechanical nightmare . The factory unit never was supported by ford = no info from them forthcoming .
I used to get my own cut audio books and play them on the road . Don't travel anymore, but if i did i would package usb sticks to play . A back up camera on head unit would be nice .
If you're OK with aftermarket options, look at Crutchfield.com. They have an online configurator that will show you exactly what fits your specific truck. If you buy from them, they will also send detailed instructions on installation, and they can include any/all adapters you'll need to do it in a plug and play fashion.
I'm planning to do this to my 2005 Lariat because I want a backup camera and a nice, modern touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple Carplay would be nice so I don't have to grab my phone.
I got a factory "upgrade" online for my BIL's 2001 2-3 years ago. Just pulled his AM/FM head and installed the "new" factory/OEM AM/FM with single CD player.
I installed an after-market single CD (Crutchfield ordered Kenwood) in my 2006 F-150. The CD player crapped out almost as soon as the warranty expired. And I agree about the ridiculously complicated menus/controls on aftermarket units...

I've had them repair two Ford displays/backlighting for me. They'll also repair the CD mechanisms WHEN they jam, but I avoid CDs like the plague.
Anyway, the point is nearly all used OEM stereos will have failed in one way or another, but you can have them repaired. Sometimes people will replace one with a bad display and just give away the old one.
There are of course YT vids on how to fix them yourself if you want to put on your electronics hat but for me I've always felt it was a better use of my time to send them off.
Discover the possibility of stumbling upon one at a pick-n-pull salvage yard. Enhance your driving experience with a sleek aftermarket radio featuring Bluetooth and USB capabilities. Easily load your favorite tunes onto a convenient thumb drive for seamless listening pleasure on-the-go.
Like global positioning systems, compact discs are now "old tech" and close to obsolete. There is no point in finding some used CD player.
For less $100, you can find a touchscreen head unit with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Then you can play whatever music you want via your smart phone. And you will also be able to use the phone's navigation application. The modern car radios can play all sorts of media from a microSD card and/or USB thumb drive, including movies, tv shows, music videos....... as well as stream music, podcasts, news, and real time live radio.
Once you pick out whichever radio you want, you will need the following:
