It's German!

It's got water damage!

This channel does a lot of engine tear-downs. The only Powerstroke is a 7.3 with 700,000 miles.

Thanks for posting that Jack (even though it was for Hartwig). I've watched some of his teardowns, but this was a 6 cyl bi-turbo Merc - about halfway through he mentions he did a M278 which is the 8 cylinder version (one of them), which is what we have in our E550 - so I went and watched that teardown, and thus know more about my engine...
