Been a few years since I've owned a Powerstroke....hoping to get some feedback on how my 1995 F350 engine sounds to you folks....the screech at the beginning of the video is not from the engine....thanks in advance!
That screech is loud! Only on start up? Intermittent? I’d think pulley, idler or other. I never had luck with gates belt, assuming the green belt is a gates. I did the dual tensioner and got a new belt to fit. I’ve also heard a screech before my vacuum pump crapped out.
air filter should get extended closer to battery for cooler air, not an issue if you dont tow
I just have never been a fan of washable filters after my few experiences with them, not saying that everyone has had that experience, but I just don’t like them
i used K&N in the past with out issue on a normal gasser but these turbo diesels suck in a lot more air that can cause turbo dusting that some have posted warnings about yet they are sold on amazon daily.
the 6637 is cheap enough for me to replace as i dont drive in super dusty areas
Thanks for the comments....as stated, the screech is not from the engine, just showed up on the video for some reason...I haven't had the truck long and will be moving/replacing the filter
