1965 F100 VIN Decoder

Good afternoon Ford Enthusiasts,
I recently acquired my grandpa's 1965 Ford F100 that he bought new. I learned to drive in it and I would like to get it fixed up so that I can teach my son to drive in it. I have a few years, he's only 4.

I need some help decoding the VIN Number and data plate information. Or at least can someone point me in the right direction so I can figure it out myself. I believe I know what most of it means, but since I have nothing to go off of, I'm going to assume that I know nothing. Which is probably closer to the truth. Thanks in advance. Lance

My buddy's truck is Arcadian Blue (F) - here it is in 1968 and 1970 still sporting its original paint.

Arcadian Blue is the promotional name, these names usually don't appear in parts catalogs. This truck looks Light Blue to me.

I got the F Light Blue code from a 1957/68 loose leaf paper parts catalog that comes in handy. I got it from Pasadena Ford when they closed.

You'd love it, it has pages of accessories that were not in later editions.
