They are pretty big.
Mine were 9 inches wide and think 29 or 30 in diameter,
They also would have needed to be replaced because of age and think starting the dry rot.
Killer was they still had rubber left on them.

So you have a plan for them yet?

Yeah these slicks are massive, that Dodge Dart has slicks and I think they are about 10 inches wide, these from Wayne just dwarf those.
I was thinking I might make a table, but not laying down with the table in the center of the tire, with the tire standing up. Here is a good example of what I have in mind.

Because the tire is so big a little larger top would look better at least by the picture.

I know Lowes sells round wood panels because I bought one to use as a Lazy Susan in my spray paint area in the shop. If they have one that is 16 or 18 inches diameter I think that might work well. And just some leftover scrap for the base.

I think (I hope) I finely got to the bottom of the CDL issue!
After calling all week and no one knowing anything and them sending off Emails for someone to call me with no call backs the wife called and got the same run around I got each day. Now she knows I was not pulling one over on here even with me in front of her each day.

Well she called back a 2nd time right after hanging up and got someone that knew just what forums (3 of them) from the Fed Gov. not the state as they dont do wavers any more, I needed. She Emailed them to me and got them printed out.

But my special eye doctor needs to fill them out as it is something the DOT Dr. cant do.
So I took the papers to her and guess what? Yep she if off on Friday's so Monday when she has time she will fill them out and they will call me for pick up.
Now I hope the DOT Dr. dose not have to add anything to the forums as he is not in every day so I may have to wait for him too.

After all the forums are filled out I get to take them with my papers from the DOT Dr. to a driver Lic. place and have them do their thing.
Now the only good thing for some but bad for me is once I get this done they remove the restriction and I can drive the work truck out of state.
I could not do that before and was happy as I was home every night.
If work finds out I can go out of state they may send me out of stater and may have to sleep in my truck, a non-sleeper or try and find Hotels that I can park a trailer truck at.
So I hope in a week or less I will be working again!

That is good news, I know you are ready to go back to work. Yes I am with you on that; hope they don't find out they could send you out of state!

Went to race this weekend, didn't place... but finally made some solid passes. Pit was rough and found some areas that need attention. Overall I think I was around 5th out of 10 trucks.

Well home for another week with out work
This is going on week #3
Last week I took the new forums to 1 of 2 eye doctors I see for this bad eye, only to find out the doctor was not there but left paper work for when she did come in on Monday.

She called me, had to do some more testing and go over forums of why she could not fill it out all the way.
Took care of the testing. Said my monthly eye doctor had to do the rest so stopped by on the way home and they were closed.
So this morning I called and the doctor I see that needs to fill out the rest of the forums is on vacation till next Monday!

If it is not the DOT doctor it is each of the eye doctors that only work 2 or 3 days a week so another week of waiting.

Bureaucratic nonsense! So the earliest you can get the forms finished is Monday?
By the way Andre told me he stopped by to see you. You may not know, but 1 minute after he left your house, he got into a wreck at 50-210. His light turned green and he took off and noticed a pickup on 50 coming up on the red but was not slowing down so he gunned it and the truck hit him in the rear quarter. He said if he had not gunned it the guy would have hit square in the door. Then the guy tried to fist-bump Andre saying "we good?" cause he wanted to leave. Andre kept telling him not to leave. He got a crowbar out and was trying to pry his bumper which was wedged against the front wheel. Finally the cops got there and interviewed the man. Then he came to Andre. Said he found 2 open containers in the guys pickup and smelled alcohol on him, so was going to give him a breathalyzer. Last Andre saw the cop had him handcuffed and stuffing him into the back seat of his cruiser. Hopefully insurance repairs his Explorer, because given the age they might just total it.

I still dont have my CDL back.
Need to see my monthly eye doctor Monday so she can fill out the rest of the waver paperwork.
Once I have that I can hit up the DMV Lic office and hope they say OK to get my Lic. back.

I have a issue with 1 of my eyes so Icant pass the eye part of the DOT physical and because of this I need a waver.
Up to 2 years ago the states handed them out and because of my high blood psi every year I have to get the DOT physical.
So every year I had to get fancy eye tests that my monthly Dr dose not do and send it into the state and they would say yes or no on the Lic. it has always been yes.

2 years ago the feds now hand out the wavers but no one at DMV knew what paper work I needed for this, they just said the DOT Dr would know.
Well he did not so that held me back some. Then he filled out the normal DOT physical papers wrong.
When DMV seen this they did not look farther of my papers.I also had to wait a week to see the Dr. that filled the papers out wrong. He was off and no one else would over write his check up of me.

Got that done faxed the papers in called to see if DMV got them and they said I had to wait 72 hr.
Called back 72 hr and no one knew what I was talking about and no papers but side someone may not have put them in the system but would send off an email with my phone number to call me. Yep no call back that day.
Called the next day same BS and a email sent off, still not call that day.

By this time the wife calls DMV as I have had it and again they dont know anything and email sent off.
She hangs up and calls right back and this time she gets someone that knows just what forums I need for the waver and she emails the 3 pages to me.
Printer dose not work so off I go to get them printed and then take them to my DOT eye test Dr who dose not work on Friday's but will be in on Monday.

She fills out what she can on Monday and calls me in the after noon that I need more testing and ask questions so in I go.
Had to do a color blind test but she cant fill out all of the papers, my monthly eye Dr. has to do that!
So off to her office and they are closed WTF!
Tuesday morning I call as they have different offices and she may be at one. NOPE! she is off for the week.

So here I am out of work for 3 weeks now and I hope to see her this Monday to get the est of the papers filled out.
Then I can got to DMV after 12pm because that is the only time they take walk ins and hope they say yes and get my CDL back.
Oh and Friday I see my monthly eye Dr for my needle in the eye so if I do get my CDL back I cant work Friday because if it.

And no you cant make this sh** up it really happens to me.
So if you have not had any health issues like me you should be ok and pass your DOT physical.
Good luck
Dave ----

ps I did my DOT physical back in Feb. thinking I would get this all taken care of before I needed to.
as I said DMV only goes till they see something wrong and stop. Then when that is fixed look farther till they find something else.
That is the other reason why so long too.
(you dont hear this, because they pull the CDL they also pull the normal car Lic so you cant drive anything but you still need to get around to get this done what BS!)

Went to DMV yesterday, shocked only a short wait to see someone only to be told all the paperwork I have is to old and not done in the right order!
The 2 eye doctors have to fill out their papers then to the DOT doctor.

Today I was able to get the eye doctor part taken care of but the DOT doctor will not be in till Friday.
Friday morning I have my monthly eye needle and cant see too good for a few hours.
So after a short rest hope to hit the DOT doctor and get all the paper work done for good!
Hope he can just change the dates because redoing the testing is 50/50 to pass with my blood psi after my eye needle.

Yep 4 weeks going to have the re-learn hove to drive a truck again
I hope the DOT doctor goes easy and he will just change the dates then it will be to deal with DMV on Monday.

If the rain holds off I got to replace my mail box.
Some dick head hit it the other day and took the door off and I can not get it to stay back on.
Picked that up this morning at Lowe's

This is the 4th time it has been hit since 2015 when I moved in and had to move it from up in the drive to the road as per post man.
First boxes were metal a vary large one at first, could not be fixed.
When smaller and the first hit I was able to fix it and weld it back up then hit again and could not be fixed to went plastic.
This lasted the longest but with no door and all this rain we had mush for mail

I also think I will put the numbers on the post that I have had for ever LOL
