Help identifying step bar/running board bracket

Help identifying step bar/running board bracket

I need to replace the running board brackets on my 06. They are the tubular aluminum style with ford rubber step pads (so I assume they are oem). Ordered the brackets (right hand bracket on tailgate)I could find in the parts catalog but they are not the same as the old brackets (left hand on tailgate) and the plastic bracket covers therefore don't fit.

Anyone have a part number/ identification on thes brackets?

I'd put a good coat of paint on the old one and keep using it.

Unfortunately that's one of the better condition ones. The bad ones are just a pile of rust on the pavement at this point....

Sure does, just need to find the part number for just the brackets though.

How many brackets do you need? Might be worthwhile to source from a local salvage yard.

This example is listing for $125 on car-part.com (if you haven't tried already)

That's on my list if can't locate new. unfortunately it's the Northeast so most of the salvage yard ones will probably look like mine.
