Newbie - Just Purchased
Just purchased. Needs some work but is pretty solid. 1976 F100 4x4, 4 speed manual with granny gear, Ranger XLT. Came from the factory with a 360 and was Raven Black with Red interior. Now has a 390. Have plenty of questions and have read and learned a lot on the site already. But excited to do the work myself!
Adding more pictures - having a great time fixing her up. Finding things PO did that need fixing. I have limited experience but learning from all the posts and wife is excited how much time I am spending and $$$.
Have a question - no proportioning valve. Already bled brakes - but still not great. Front disc and rear drum. Came from factory that way. Should I add proportioning valve?
Have questions about steering box and the parts I need to clear up sloppy steering. More to come.

Like what, straighten the antenna? Put on some chrome wheels? Heck the more I look at it the more I like the black ones. Just put some chrome center caps and chrome beauty rings and rock it.
Also make sure and check out your FTE STATE chapter. Ark link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum175/
Kramercd/Clifton is a nice guy.

Have spent a lot of time underneath. Will for sure post some pics soon. Need a lot of coaching on what to do. New to this but willing to tackle almost anything. Has a small oil leak that will be asking for some expert advice from the folks here. Amazed at how much I have learned by reading posts!!
