2001 windows switch light not lighting up
Hi my 2001 EX none of my widows or lock buttons switch light up I have tested the mail light switch in the dash and the terminal 1 LB/RD has power at it when the switch get turn on. I am trying to find with out ripping the dash out connection point S216 that's after the main light switch that that I have power now but that's were I have stopped. any help would be greatly received. Thank you for reading

HA HA !!!!! Solved the 2001 Excursion not on the print has a fuse for door switches lights position 7 is a 5 amp fuse not in the print but listed in the fuse box list. Dummy check the fuses first right !!!!

The power for the door switch (lock and windows) illumination does not come from the light switch. It comes from the accessory delay relay via CJB F07 and is on whenever the ADR is energized. See cell 71-3 of the EVTM, it is on the schematic if you look in the right place.

Thanks Hotshot I did find that later.. what I was looking at was cell 71-1 (A) from the light switch to 71-2 (A) C233 S940 I thought that was the door switches but I now see that it was the over head temp controller lights not the door.
