Distributor fitting
Need some help guys. I installed a Weiand 8012 Stealth on my 86 F250 460. The performance distributor I have now won't fit. The cap hits the thermostat housing. Will a Stock distributor work or is there a different designed housing that I can get to clear the cap on the Performance distributor. Any advice will be appreciated.

I am assuming your different distributor is a HEI unit? They are larger in diameter. Check the people that you bought the distributor from, they make a special thermostat housing to fit the larger HEI distributor. Here's a link. https://performancedistributors.com/...ostat-housing/
