Wow, I must have won the lottery. My truck will pull just as hard cold engine as fully warmed up.

It sounds like your injectors are in working order!

Yes they are!
Brand new set of Alliants installed with the engine. #8 knocks at idle because no long lead injector for that, but man does it pull!!

Kwik I find it interesting your tuning doesnt pull some power back until up to a certain oil temp in order to help protect things. Also the engine fan is usually engaged for a bit until the fluid clutch starts working (seems to take longer in cold)

I wouldnt classify mine as sluggish, but power pulled and cold trans fluid/tc not locking until desired temp(or od turned off) and fan clutch taking a little bit to function(new oem unit)

I do not notice any difference in sluggishness from brand new alliants to 136k 24 year old injectors, just the fact the old ones actually work properly..

All the measurements on the oil side are out of spec with worn out injectors. It's hard for the cold oil to move through the injector when it's out of spec. Yes EOT controls timing.

Maybe it's a stick shift thing. No need to worry about overworking a cold automatic transmission, so let 'er rip no matter what the temperature. If I'm out on a 5th wheel trip and we pull over in a rest area for the night, don't even unhitch. Next morning start up and go, no difference in pulling power, just spool and go.

Not sure, my zf6 truck pulls some fuel until oil temps come up as well, so either tuning, or just a different opinion on full power between you and I (zf6 truck has 1 year old rosewood 160/0)
Honestly I would not want 100 percent power until the engine warms up a few minutes anyways

I drove a 97 E350 with 24k miles and around 4000 engine hours. It was a complete slug when cold. Those injectors were in really bad shape.
