stuck distributor

Anybody happen to know of any tricks to get a stuck distributor out of a 351m ? I intended to replace the cam and lifters but now this also includes removing a broken bolt in the head from the exhaust manifold and I would rather not have this project continue to grow so I am looking for non-violent means of removing the distributor.

Try using some PB blaster in the yellow cap or Aero kroil these are the best penetrants available spray it around the base liberally and tap on the shaft where it goes down into block. Then it should come out.

I used a small curved nail puller. I tapped it gently between the dist. and the block. Then applied some pressure. If you can just get it in there, then apply some penetrant it will help.
