2003 F350 regular cab 5.4L
The pipe between the Y-pipe and cat has rusted through right at the flange on the cat side. The pipe itself is part of the whole catalytic converter assembly. The cat itself is fine, just the rusted pipe at the flange.
Has anyone found a flange and short pipe that bolts up?? I really don't want to cut off the flange from the Y-pipe, but I'm having no luck finding a flange and pipe section that fits.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks,
Ed

Drop the cat out and cut off the rusted part. Stub in a short piece of exhaust pipe with one end expanded to it will fit back over your Y pipe.
Weld the stub to the cat and the flared end to your Y pipe.
cut the bad pipe off the cat and flange, weld a piece of pipe back in, and bolt it back to the y pipe.
the cat, pipe, and flange are no longer available.
